ReplyDeleteYour mother was here for a few days & left yesterday & got back to Camp Hill last night. We had a nice time & visited our local nature preserves & the local beach as well as Southwest Harbor & Bass Harbor on Mt Desert Island.
Eileen & Kevin were here for a couple of days but left on Sunday.
Let me know how you are doing. Do you know yet what city or town that you'll be assigned to for the coming year?

It sounds like a big change soon if you are heading to a small city further away. How do you get there? By plane or train?
Our garden is already nearing the end of the cycle of growth, especially the potatoes with the tops now dying off. The ground-hogs have managed to find a way in to devour our pumpkins and squash. Susan is at her wit's end & I'm unable to find any hint of a hole in the fence so can't figure out how they get through the mesh wire of the fence. And the squirrels have been getting into the ceiling of the cabin, making lots of chewing noises & presumably also making baby squirrels. I've already stopped up four holes that they've made. If you hear of Chinese gardeners methods to take care of these critters let me know.
I'll check out Yibin on the google map. When you give me your address there maybe I can even zero in on the area.
